If I'm going down a road that you're not going down and we both cannot agree which is the best road for both of us to get to our desired destination, then it's probably best if we part ways at the fork in the road and go it alone.

Sometimes people are only in your life for a season. Be okay with that. God always sends you the people you need in your life for every season of your life!

Weekly Challenge

Complete one or more of the following "Acts of Kindness" this week:

1. Do something kind for a Senior Citizen in your neighborhood or church.

2. Pay for a strangers meal without them knowing that you did.

3. Introduce yourself to a church member or co-worker that you don't know and offer them a spiritual word of encouragement.

4. Take a friend's or neighbor's young child to lunch or a movie!

Does It Really Matter?

Have you ever been in a conversation and someone said…”well they said…”Hmm....Have you ever wanted to just stop the person in mid sentence and ask, well who are they???

I believe that is a great question.

Who are they to say that you will not make it?
Who are they to say that you cannot be successful?
Who are they to suggest that your plan of action won’t work?
Who are they to say that you cannot survive without their support?
Who are they to tell you that you are not good enough?
Who are they to devalue you as a person?
Who are they to have the audacity to think that your dreams will never come true?
Who are they?!?!?!?!?!

I will tell you who they are.

There is an old adage that says “those who can, do; those who can’t…talk about those who can”.

Think about it the next time someone comes to you and says "well, they said...."

Bible Study Recap June 26

This week our Pastor Newman is out of town and Pastor Edwards talked about "Saved to Serve". (Eph 4:1)

Key Points:

The point of the church is maturation
The work is too big for the Pastor alone.
Ministry is WORK!!
Ergon in the Greek means to work until the work is finished!
We are really good at starting but not finishing
We are called with an objective and a purpose which is to serve God and man.
